In Japan, this card was first released as an Unnumbered Promotional card with artwork by Toshinao Aoki and was distributed by All Nippon Airlines between August 1 and September 30, 1999. Passengers flying in conjunction with the "Everyone's Happy Campaign" could redeem two domestic boarding pass stubs for a two-card set that included Moltres and Zapdos.
