Scyther
How it was given out: Pokémon League.
English promo, released Apr 2002.
One of 278 promos from 1999 to 2003 listed on this site.
Scyther can't use this attack during your next turn. (Benching or evolving Scyther ends this effect.)

This card was released as a Wizards Black Star Promo through the Pokémon League in April 2002. In Japan, it was first available as a glossy card on sheet seven of Expansion Sheet 3. It was reprinted as a non-glossy Holofoil card in the Green Deck of the Quick Starter Gift Set. All Japanese prints use the Original Series layout, whereas the English print uses the Neo Series layout. The "Benching or evolving" clause is erroneously not italicized on the English print.
